2. Scope
These terms apply to every booking made on our booking pages at boutique.citalent.nl: a coworking day, a meeting room or studio, a place at an event, and a special request. They also apply to your visit.
Our general Terms and Conditions for talent management and consultancy do not apply to these bookings. If the two documents conflict, these booking terms prevail.
The terms in force on the day you book apply to that booking.
3. Who can book
You must be 18 or over. Private individuals (consumers) and businesses can both book. If you book as a business, you confirm that you may do so for that business and that the company and VAT details you give are correct.
4. How a booking works
- You choose a date and time (or an event), fill in your details and submit the booking. By submitting you accept these terms, and the booking obliges you to pay, subject to section 7.
- We reserve your desk, room or place straight away and send you an email with the details of your reservation.
- You receive a payment link by email, or an invoice with bank transfer details. Your booking is confirmed when we have received your payment.
- We hold an unpaid reservation for 48 hours after you made it, or until 12 hours before the start if that is sooner. If we have not received your payment by then, we may release the reservation and let you know.
A booking made less than 12 hours before the start should be paid immediately, otherwise we may release it.
5. Special requests and proposals
A special request is not a booking. Examples are renting the whole space, a long meeting, a workshop, a photoshoot or extra equipment. We review your request and send you a proposal. An agreement exists only when you accept the proposal.
The proposal states the price, what is included and how long it is valid. Materials you ask for, such as microphones, a ring-light or catering, are provided as agreed in the proposal and may be charged separately. A recurring booking is also agreed in the proposal. The cancellation terms in an accepted proposal replace section 7.
6. Prices, VAT and payment
Prices are in euros. For private individuals the price on the booking page is the final price including VAT. For businesses, VAT is added according to your VAT status, in the same way as on your invoice, and the booking page shows the amount accordingly.
You pay with the payment link or by bank transfer, as stated in the email or on the invoice. We send invoices by email, so you must give us a correct email address. If you do not pay in time, section 4 applies. Any discount we agree with you is shown on your invoice.
7. Cancellation by you
To cancel, send an email to the address in section 1 and quote your booking.

A no-show counts as a late cancellation. Changing the date counts as a cancellation plus a new booking. If you change within the free cancellation period, we do not charge for the change where possible.
8. Cancellation by us
If we have to cancel a booking, for example because an event is cancelled or the space is not available, we tell you as soon as possible and refund everything you paid in full.
9. Refunds
We refund what you are owed with the same payment method you used, within 14 days of the cancellation.
10. Right of withdrawal for consumers
Our services are leisure services tied to a specific date or period. For that reason the statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to them. Section 7 describes what you can cancel instead.
11. Using the space
Our team welcomes you and lets you in: ring the bell at the entrance. Our team also closes the space. Please follow the instructions of our team.
Coffee, tea and water are self-service and included. You may not bring more people than the headcount you gave when booking, and never more than the capacity of the room or event.
House rules for visitors:
- Desks. Use any free desk; no desk is reserved for one person. If it is busy, ask the people nearby.
- Furniture and layout stay as they are. Small adjustments, such as moving a chair, are fine if everything goes back afterwards.
- Noise. Keep voices at a comfortable level and use headphones for music and calls.
- Respect others. Be mindful of personal space; items on desks are not communal.
- Cleanliness. Clean up after yourself, rinse cups or put them in the dishwasher, and take your rubbish with you. At the end of your visit your desk must be completely clean, with nothing left behind.
- Food and drinks. Food is allowed everywhere except on the sofa; drinks are allowed everywhere. Label anything you put in the fridge, because it is cleared every Friday at 16:30.
- Smoking and vaping are not allowed in the space.
- Shared resources. WiFi, the printer and the storage cabinet may be used following the instructions posted in the space. Use them thoughtfully so they stay available for everyone.
- Belongings. Keep valuables safe and do not leave personal items in common areas.
- Health and safety. Please do not visit when you are unwell. Keep corridors, exits and emergency routes clear. Fire extinguishers are in the Sun room, in the Earth meeting room and in the hallway outside.
- Report problems with technical issues, cleanliness, safety or security to our team right away.
- Leave the space better than you found it.
If you seriously or repeatedly break these rules, we may ask you to leave.
12. Events run by other organisers
CITALENT organises an event unless the event description names another organiser. For an event run by another organiser, that organiser is responsible for the event and its content. We remain the seller of your place and handle the booking, the payment and any refund under these terms.
13. Damage, belongings and liability
You are responsible for damage to the space, furniture and equipment caused by you or the people you bring. We charge the cost of repair or replacement. We do not ask for a deposit.
Your belongings are at your own risk, unless the law says otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
14. Privacy
We use your details to handle your booking, send confirmations, invoice you and answer your questions. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
15. Complaints
Send complaints to the email address in section 1. We answer as soon as we can.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law, and disputes go to the courts of Alicante. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the rights you have under the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence.
17. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. A change does not affect a booking you already made. The version number and the date of publication are shown at the top of this page.
